Do you mean trying to be humble stops you from being humble? Thinking of the obnoxious Uriah Heep in David Copperfield who always kept saying how “ ‘umble “ he was - anything but! Not quite sure about the last sentence means though..

An important step in my recovery with alcoholism was to learn how to be humble. I often say humbility because it represents being humble and having humility. Saying I have humble doesn’t get it. Saying I have humility does. Some people equate being humble with weakness. It’s just the opposite. Being humble enables a person to learn. Learning about ourselves and the world around us and knowledge gives us strength. A closed mind is a weak mind. Open your mind, let the sunshine in and let your “HAIR” down. 😁
