Sertraline side effects

So I am on tablet 6 of sertraline, Only side effect I have is insomnia. From last Friday when I started I have had little to no sleep. Now today I must have had a couple of hours sleep in the early hours as I felt fresher when I woke up. I also felt hyper whereas yesterday I felt zombiefied due to lack of sleep. Surely the tablet cannot be that fast to make me feel hyper on day 6. Does feeling hyper mean the tablet is starting to get to work? dosage is 25mg daily

hi hopefully that`s a good sign although a bummer the first few days without any sleep.it just depends all of us are different and take to new medication different as well some can be like you some 6-8 weeks even.
