Venaflexine withdrawals

Good morning,

I have been asked to come off my medication (Venaflexine) due to suicidal thoughts when i am alone, especially at night time. My GP took me off these and in the last couple of weeks ai have been feeling incredibly sad, irritable and anxious. I have been told that this is to do with the withdrawal process but i am so worried that i am now going to feel like this for good now. Has anybody else been through this?

Hi and welcome! I'm glad you were told it's part of the withdrawal process. It will come to an end. I know it's impossible to understand that when you're going through it, but it will. No one is in withdrawal for life, so it will end. Hang in there!
