I cut my hair today by myself. Had a bad anxiety attack! Feeling lonely

I've done that a couple of times. It wasn't a good feeling when I did it. It's like I hacked all my hair off. A good hairdresser I had for awhile told me she knew that whenever a woman has pretty long hair and wants to cut it all short, she's going through something!!! Don't beat yourself up that you did that, it will grow back , but the next time you feel really angry and lonely, stay AWAY from scissors, razors, knives, etcetera. Just lie down and do some deep breathing or write out how you're feeling in a journal only you read. And don't even think about cutting or hurting yourself either. Just lie down for awhile and read something or listen to some relaxing music. Let the feeling pass, sooner or later it will.🙂

I know that feeling, being with people around you and feeling lonely that you are by yourself. Pretending you are okay but you are not. Wanting to cry for help but cant.

Hey, don't worry too much about it, alright? It's gonna grow back soon. I know how u feel cuz I did a very similar thing a few months ago. Short hair can look very depressing, especially if you r used to long hair. But don't fret too much.

Try to do a little damage control by referring to YouTube. Take care of the ends so they don't end up looking too shabby. U can find a lot of cool hairstyles for short hair. Even braids. Sometimes, I gel my hair so I look like a total badass. Give it a shot!

If you still don't like the way it looks, try putting it in a cute little ponytail as soon as it grows back. Or pin your hair back with those cute little hair clips u can find on Amazon.

Try not to think too much, just think of this as something new you decided to try out. Avoid looking at your reflection if it bothers you too much. Also, if the anxiety gets really bad, u could check out the Wim Hof breathing techniques a user on this site recommended to me a while ago. Try to take a warm bath. Listen to some soothing music, make yourself a cup of warm cocoa and watch a movie to distract yourself.
