I just got a cat a few weeks ago. Funny how they go from being scared to thinking they run the place in a short period of time.

Yep, my cat tolerates me living here as long as I feed her and scoop her poop. My reward is her gracing me with her presence on my lap so I can give her attention.

Yes although I don't play out anymore since having a child. Music is my escape. Depression can sometimes make me lose interest is it gets really bad. What do you play?

Classically trained pianist for 20 years! I picked up guitar about 10 years ago and bass 5! In my band I played bass and sang! We just disbanded though bc our lead singer moved for a job! I miss it though!

Oh wow, that is cool. Piano is not easy. I play guitar but I picked up a bass too. I was recording music for fun and that is why I got a bass. I have been watching YouTube videos to learn playing it. The bass has a much longer neck so it is an adjustment.

I can't sing. My sister got that talent. You definitely sound more talented than me. I really have to work at it but it is a labor of love.

Oh gosh anyone can sing haha you sound very talented as well! Recording is very hard! Super intricate! I struggle with that part! For my bands ep, they went to a friends to record but my anxiety was super messed up so I ended up tracking at my apartment. 4 songs and it took me all day bc I’m such a noob

No, I can't sing. I'm embarrassed if I sing by myself. My sister teaches lessons but I'm hopeless. Her, her husband and daughter are all talented and they own a recording studio.

I'm a noob at recording too. I had a lot of gear about 15 years ago and outside of the mixer and microphones, it is all outdated (computer, FireWire outboard sound card, software, etc). I go back and forth on which way to go again. There is a lot to DAWs. I have an old four track recorder (cassette) for ideas and that can still be fun. I freeze up when I got "record". Lol

Yeah see I don’t even know what DAWs are haha! My fiancé has a focusrite interface and a good mic from when she went to recording school and Logic so that’s what I used! I sent them to the producer and he said they worked so I must’ve done something right!

They are beautiful cats. I have a cat and whether or not he is nice to me it still comforts me. I feel a home isn't a home without an animal and it just feels empty.

And I just love cats. I love dogs too but not the same way I love cats. To me they are endlessly fascinating and I could watch them all day.

They are precious and pretty!We joke that our dogs allow us to live in their world. Pet hugs are so sweet. I have one doggie laying at my head and one at my back while I write this.
