Is it ok to take out of date anti depressants?

I have some fluoxetine that went out of date in October 2020? Do you think it’s ok to take them as I can’t see the Doctor til 22th April?

I only have venal in date and I don’t like them as they make me sweat a lot and I’ve been off them now for 6 weeks, but I think I need something and flux have a better half life so I was thinking of taking a small dose of them but my tablets are out of date by 6 months.

It might be but it'll probably be less effective.

Ask your pharmacist. Many medicines are fine even after their expiration date.
