My ex asked me out for breakfast and I initially denied it. A few weeks later I told him if the offer was still on the table we should do the breakfast because I have some things I’d like to talk about. The day before he ignored my message after I asked what time, then I asked was he canceling and he ignored that too. Finally, I told him that he was being insensitive because he saw me texting him and he replied he’ll let me know when the next day. The next day comes and we’re supposed to go out and he never hmu. Obviously I need to cut him out permanently but why would he even do all that. I just wanted to see if we could’ve have some type of friendship since it’s been over a year since the break up.

Sounds like he got upset because you didn’t want to go the first time. Now, you want to try it out and he is ignoring you for pushing it off initially. It’s sad fr. For you to even take the time to want to initiate a friendship on the first place is a HUGE step within itself. I remember, in my younger days, I wouldn’t want to be friends with any of my exes and I would let that be known. I can say I’ve grown a lot because I do not see the problem with friendship if it is not toxic. He shouldn’t have ignored you. All he had to say was no so he didn’t waste your time. Being that way is very childish in my eyes. I’d chalk it up and say forget it. It’s not worth it. Don’t let him disrupt your peace 💪🏾.
