Am I Wrong

My friend and client killed himself recently. Father of 2, great guy. I knew he was ill. I am too. Is it wrong that I'm kinda proud that he chose himself over the constant trauma his brain inflicted on him? My sister says I should be sad. I'm not. My friend said to me "I relinquish you from any burden of my happiness if you are in a place where you see no other way out. I never want that to happen but that is my promise", and honestly, that was the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me.

No I don't think you're wrong. I'm sorry you lost your friend. Only each of us know the pain we feel on a daily basis. I am not very religious but I dont feel people should judge others especially since they don't know the entire story. Im glad you and your friend were able to talk openly about things. No one can tell you how to feel or grieve. ❤
