Hello.. I’ve swopped from 45mg metrazapine to 30mg citralpram just over 2 weeks who. I put 2 1/2 stone with the metrazapine and even though I was feeling better anxiety wise the weight gain was making me feel disgusting. But I’m not feeling great anxiety wise again and having horrible side effects I’m assuming from stopping metrazpine (I went down to 25mg and then stopped suddenly) and beginning the citralopram. I cant eat, nausea, and diarrhoea. It’s been two weeks since beginning and less then a week for the increase to 30mg. I am panicking as my anxiety relates to my health so feeling poorly is causing considerable distress. Anyone else experienced these symptoms and when will I feel better? Thank you gem

Yes I have gained weight on mirtizipam. I have done my best to accept it, I wear large baggy tops to cover the spread. I have been on it for over a year. Now as I am doing so good, we have cut my dose from 15 mg to 7 1/2 mg, and hopefully later this year we try stopping it. I hope by then I will be able to loose some weight, I eat a healthy diet and do my best to get exercise. So do not give up on yourself, do not call yourself names, this is a problem with this drug, it is Not Your Fault. If it is making you feel better, at least it is working in that dept. I send you hope, cheer, peace, love n hugs....Sprinkle 1.....
