The domino effect

I have had a lot on my mind lately. I have been worried and visibly upset for those who have temporarily lost their jobs. Today I was informed that I have lost my job until further notice. My wife is on the fence about her job and it's on a day to day basis. I feel hopeless as so many others do. I had some words on my mind and decided to write a poem. It is a little dark but it sums up my anxiety

My Poem

Dark skies

Blurry eyes

The darkness impales me

I wake

I work

I sleep

No end in sight

How long will this last

When will I see the light

Is it me

Has it always been me

Quarantine has my mind

I give in

I give up

Hi Jozey.

I am sorry about your job. I guess more and more people will be affected in that way. This has to eventually get better, right???

Stay healthy, hang in there.

Nice poem.

Thank you for posting it.

Beautiful poem! I can empathize with how you feel. :(( Just stay safe, wash your hands, and try not to wash you’re hands. Not trying to get too political, but trump plans on getting federal money out in the mail so hopefully it can help people in you’re situation!
