job switching

I am in the process of trying to find a new job. I have an interview Monday. I am so anxious and worried about telling my current job I am leaving that I can't think of anything else. I know that people change jobs all the time. And I know they will find someone to do my job. But it's just so hard.

It is hard but say nothing till you have accepted another job. Just relax and remember what makes u unique, a good fit for the company, what your strengths are and such... take a bunch of me time, pamper yourself so you are feeling tip top b4 interview! Everyone is nervous/anxious in job interview.. natural completely.

When you get new job just be sure to tell new employer that you need to give at least 2 weeks notice to current employer to show you are respectful. Then tell your current employer by letter (it’s easier) that this letter is your 2 weeks notice of resignation from your employment. Thank them for the opportunity and experience that they provided by employing you. You can tell them that you have a new job or you can just not put a reason. It’s up to you.

Then it’s done with no fuss or mess. No reason to get anxious or anything! You also have not burned a bridge with them either as you kept it professional. 😊🌷☀️

thank you. I appreciate it. I think it's because I have been here so long and I have this fear that there will be yelling when I give my notice. In the office there are only 4 of us. But the last person who left called one day and said I'm not coming back. So I am definitely being better about it than that.

That’s why if you do it in writing no emotions will fly... lol

No worries.. just be respectful, gracious for opportunity etc. You are not bound to your employer for life... 😊 1st get the new job! Best of luck!!!🍀
