Not too bad when I left half hour or so ago (after being with him 12 hours at the hospital). Having some IV treatments. Pain more under control.

As soon as the Consultant saw his condition he said he'd be staying in.

Prayer still needed.

Dear Mary,

There will be good days & bad days. Cherish & enjoy the good ones.

No matter what happens, take time to focus on the days when your husband is doing well & is keenly aware of your love & support.

And remember to thank GOD for the gift of marriage.

Yes, GOD inspired the words found at Ecclesiastes 4: 9-11...

'Two are better than one because they have a good reward for their hard work. For if one of them falls, the other can help his partner up. But what will happen to the one who falls with no one to help him up? Moreover, if two lie down together, they will stay warm, but how can just one keep warm? And someone may overpower one alone, but two together can take a stand against him. And a threefold cord cannot quickly be torn apart.'

Indeed, GOD is the "3-fold CORD" in such a marriage, and after being married for almost 50 years, I've come to appreciate the love and wisdom our Father gives generously.

May we all take time to rejoice in each precious day.

My husband had emergency major surgery .

Some post - op problems but now looking and feeling better.

Long road to recovery - but with your Prayerful support we'll get there.

There were more problems - post op & post medications. So it is a longer road to recovery . Been traumatic.

I am so thankful for everyone's caring thoughts and prayers - much appreciated.
