Try and do something for someone else. Help a family member or friend. If you are busy you won’t have time to compare.
i wish i had the answer for this one. i struggle with this too.
There's always going to be someone who is smarter than you, prettier than you, and so forth and so on ...but nobody will ever be YOU. Theres no one on the planet that is you. You are unique. Focus on yourself and loving yourself & what you can offer the world, your friends, your family. It's human nature to compete and compare but it doesnt get anyone anywhere. The more you stay in your lane the better off you'll be. Compare yourself to who you were last year. Are you better than you were? Aim to be a better YOU instead of looking else where to fill your self esteem.

I compare myself to others daily, but, if it helps, maybe think about the good things you have instead of the good things you don't have. Then, you can appreciate what you have.
Yes stop idealising others situations as you only see what's on the surface. Everyone has problems even those who seem to have 'perfect' lives. Oh and try and stay off fb and other social media! x
Hello...I'm sorry I haven't replied sooner. I just wanted to thank everyone for taking the time to respond to me. I really like all of the suggestions. In addition to these great tips, I also found a great saying that I taped to my kitchen window..."Grow Where You Are Planted". This helps me the refrain my thoughts an realize if I do something everyday to better myself whether it be going for a walk, helping someone with anything, straightening/purging all the crap in my house, then this is a great thing! Alot of people like me...it's me that's trying to like me. I am my own worst enemy.
