Hi guys I’m 21 been unemployed and without a solid routine for nearly a year now and part of it honestly is because I feel like utter crap I feel terrible no energy almost as if I’ve always got a cold but don’t actually have one if that makes sense. This causes me not to sleep well at all and not doing anything for days sometimes weeks on end any hello or advice?

Feel like crap!
Hi bengdmn, Rick is absolutely right in that you don't have a plan. You don't have
a reason to go forward. You have no direction in your life and so at 21y.o. life is passing
you by. The more you stay inactive, the more like "crud" you'll feel. Our body is made up
of muscles. Muscles need to move, when they stay dormant for a long time, they atrophy.
Not only physically but mentally as well.
Lying around depletes you of energy. You can reverse this feeling yourself but it doesn't
come easy. You've gotten into a pattern/habit that needs to be broken. Seeing a professional can help get your started but if you can't afford it, then I suggest you start
planning small goals to achieve each day. First thing is getting out of that bed and dressed. Small steps will get you to your goal. Having a medical checkup might help in
ruling out any health issues that might be going on.
You are too young to just be existing, life is for the living. Go for it. You will be a
happier person. xx
Thank you for your reply I appreciate it very much I should of clarified that I do have ambitions to become a comedian and I do also get up and get dressed every single day an usually go on a dog walk or do some exercise indoors. It’s not as much as I used to do but I certainly agree with you I’m just unsure on how to do it but my current therapist believes I overthink
bengdmn, it's one of our problems in that we all tend to overthink and then
for me the "what ifs" could come into play. But we never know unless we try. I was taken back and yet happy that
you do have ambition to become a comedian. How great is that? Bringing
laughter and joy to others. Not an easy livelihood to get started but the
possibilities can be endless once you do. I'm also glad to hear that you are in
therapy. I feel better now having heard from you. It sounds like you are in
good hands and just waiting for the right opportunity to come along.
I support you in going forward with your dream. We need a lot more laughter
in this world. Good Luck to you bengdmn. xx
you said something important there~routine~thats whats doing for me~
