Tears are a rare commodity in my life. At sixty eight, I am very philosophical.

and was pushed not to show emotion as a child.

Thanks,I was brought up in a slum area of Manchester when if a boy cried he was a sisy that was many years ago I have after so much grieving sometimes you just have to have a cry no I'm not ashamed of it.by.peek

Crying is a way of releasing inner emotions. If emotions are kept in and not let out such as in tears it will even get worse from within. That is why tears have been given to us. For us to release our emotions.
