Antidepressants vs Antipsychotics

Hi

Has anyone out there ever had poor tolerance of antidepressants and then tried antipsychotics or mood stabilizers and had better tolerance?

I was diagnosed with dysthymia and GAD 10 years ago, put on celexa , which helped the depression and anxiety for a couple of years until I started to have intolerable side effects.

Since then have tried gene testing and all of the “green light” drugs with limited benefit and intolerable side effects.

So at this point looking maybe at mood stabilizers or something else if anyone has any ideas !

Im on both antidepressants and antipsychotic meds for IED and psychosis/depression so far things are going extremely well

Which meds are u on and for how long? Had I tried only 1 type of med before?
