Issues blocking my growth

I have major trust issues but also very codependent anyone else struggle and how can I over come this

Are you in a specific relationship with someone that is codependent? Or just codependent with everyone?

Codependency can be really awful and very hard to overcome. I have been there before, with counseling we were able to lessen its effects on our relationship (me & my husband). But sometimes it comes creeping back and we have to work on it again. So yeah definitely been there.

Hi Beautyguru88,It's good you can recognize where you need and want help...a lot of people can't do that. Have you tried counseling? Since you're posting in Anxiety & Depression Support I'm guessing you have 1 or both troubles also. They almost always exist together. Counseling and medication are the 2 highly recommended "pillars" of treatment for these problems anyway...without the trust or codependency issues. You'd be helping yourself for all of these problems by considering those 2 modes of treatment.

I personally have found my counselor to have been a fantastic support and help through the years. There's no way I'd be so healthy and on top of my own issues without her. You can check out therapists, psychologists or LMHC on psychology today.com. They talk about their modes of treatment, specialties (important for you), breaks in pricing offered, and more on that site. My GYN doc recommended my counselor and she really knew what she was talking about. Take care!
