Hurricane

I still haven't heard from family affected by the hurricane. Just feeling sick and helpless.

That has to be so, so hard. Try to remind yourself that there is nothing you can do right now until you hear from them. Try to rest in that truth. Save your worry energy for when you have a specific task that will help them.

That sounds like a great idea. Maybe even loud music with the window rolled down like you are 20 years old. (At least at 50, it makes me feel 20.)

I've been praying for you & your family. Have you any news update?

Yes they are fine. They were without power for 4 days. They used the grill and cooked out. Was so scared.

It’s a bit after the hurricanes, but I wanted to check in and see how you’re holding up. Have the feelings you were experiencing subsided? Did you find anything that helped provide relief?
