Morning everyone...

Right now, I know I didn't sleep much cuz I kept drifting in and out of sleep. Lately for the past two days, it has been this way. I feel so tired.

I haven't had a psychiatrist since I started having depression and anxiety. Not sure if am supposed to look for one or not yet

Hi Emmanuella234, Whenever stress starts making an impact on our life, there is no right or wrong time to see a psychiatrist. Affecting your sleep will affect your productivity, your stamina and your health.

Depression and Anxiety are wearing both on the mind and the body. Please set up an appointment soon so you can get back on the right path in functioning again. GoodLuck xx

I don't have a psychiatrist. Just my doctor

Since sleep seems to be the issue right now, talk with your doctor. He knows your health history and can direct you better. Once he eliminates a physical problem causing sleeplessness, he may suggest a therapist. xx

My family doctor has always been the first person that I go to, he can eliminate things, help with things, and point me in the correct direction.

Hello

Do you anything before you go to bed that might influence how you sleep?

No i don't. Its just difficult to sleep even when i feel tired. Most times i fall asleep on my couch but once i hit my bed, I stay awake till morning.

Try going to bed before you fall asleep on the couch.

I got to bed at 8pm and wake up at 6am being a student and also I run my own bakery by myself. I just think all the stress of the day ways on my shoulders. Also been scared of my parents is a lot to not allow me sleep

You do loads then, maybe as well as what you have mentioned, you are not allowing yourself to wind down, burning the candle at both ends. Do you not get a break at all?

Why are you scared of your parents? ( Don't answer if it is to personal )

My dad says its an offense to have depression and anxiety. Well most times I don't take breaks. I try to stay active if not I can cry all day and sick.

That awful about your dad, but at least you know that you can come onto here if you need to chat.

Why don't you try taking a break from it all, go and spend a day doing something relaxing. Give your mind me body a rest. You never know, it might just help you out.

Ok, I hope you manage to take a break.

But try to get to bed before you fall asleep on the sofa.
