I want to thank you for sharing your story and helping others. I’ve dealt with depression as a teen and it’s gotten worst within the last 4 years. They even say I’m somewhat bipolar. I stumbled across this sight one night when it was horrible for me and I was so tired of wearing out friends ear about the same thing. I felt so much better after going through the posts I said I would post and visit at least once a week. Well, I didn’t get really bad off again until this week and maybe I just wanted to be in self pity. Today was it and I got on and posted and read post and from how I felt at 8 this morning Is a total turn around from how I feel now. I feel so much better with the exception of being sleep deprived. So, thank you for all your post and experiences it truly makes a huge impact and difference
Things can turn around if you work on controling your thoughts I know sometimes it seems impossible, when you are very low but with medical help and working on yourself every day it can be done, The mind can be like a drunken monkey, work on taming and controling it and things will start to change. When I was struggling in deep depression, all i could do is put on a wayne dyer tapes and listen over and over again, and my mind began to change. I still listen to CDs every day to put positive stuff into my mind, what you put in eventualy manifests.
I am definitely listening to him this morning. One of the things I had to do personally was remove alcohol from my Life. I just found the clearer my mind is the better I can cope with things. I was quick to have a glass of wine or a drink after a struggling day at work or got really stressed which was a lot. This has helped a lot this week. I’m really excited to start my new journey.
Yes I listen to a lot of different meditation, it helps , and certainly helps me sleep ...
