Ever been in a flock of pigeons or seagulls? Brutal. If I have a choice, I'll place my flamingo with a few sandhill cranes, ok?

yeah...everyone was mad about this book 'Johnathon Livingston Segull' back in the day, but growing up with the birds on the beach, seeing them pecking everything, no....they are by nature predators and not very nice birds...cranes are pretty cool...good match.

Yes, forgot to warn a friend of mine when we were at the beach one day when her young son walked away from the concession building, and we couldn't see him for the white feathers around him. Could only think to shout: "Just drop it. (It was a hotdog.)

Found the remains of the hotdog bun, but still have no idea where he is. He'd been in his mid 20s by now case you see a confused young beach comber.
