Hiya and welcome. I think you will find there are many people here of all ages who can identify with you. Of course, everyone is unique but there are lots of commonalities. Many of the posters on this site have a wealth of knowledge and experience to offer, if you have any questions. Also, the posters are caring people, who will not judge you but rather offer support and encouragement. You may have already done this, but seeing your local doctor to discuss these issues is something to consider. Take care,

Your in the right place....lots of people here can talk to you about the symptoms, I suggest you read others posts so you can also relate to what others have done to cope with anxiety. Glad your sharing.

Which specific symptoms are you having?

I tend to avoid leaving my house, spending to much time in a store, or going to the movies because I feel like I’m stuck or everything around me isn’t real. I recently started to get dizzy, I feel more like I’m swaying and everything is going up and down. I occasionally get headaches , I do have heart palpitations and feel like I can’t breathe. My anxiety has went away before and I do not know how , but it ended up coming back. I am not on any medication because I do have trouble swallowing pills. I have seen a therapist but she couldn’t even remember my name so I stopped going.

I do have some of the symptoms you've described, recently i passed out in the train. I'm on medication, i take fluoxetine, you need to find another therapist, it is urgent! And try to go to the doctor and open up about how you feel, unfortunally people think anxiety, depression and other stuff aren't serious, but it is serious and we can't ignore the fact we need help. I hope you get better

Passing out on the train and the other symptoms you describe sound like they could be serious. I don't blame you for stopping to see such an uncaring therapist. But it sounds like you could you use a checkup with your doctor, especially with your anxiety coming back. Best wishes to you, Lyssa1029!

Are you on medications ? Or do you try to handle it on your own?
