Anyone ?

Does anyone every just feel "off" and your head just doesn't feel right ? Also like you're going to stop breathing/shortness of breathe, but it doesn't really stick around too long, just scares you? I'm experiencing this currently and I am just trying to find a way to help myself calm down some ! I hate anxiety '

You have nailed it - it's the big A come to visit you.

Accept that you have an anxiety moment and let the feelings run their course. You could say to yourself, " I am having anxiety and it too will pass " and take yourself in your mind to a peaceful scene whilst do a calming breath exercise.

1.Take a long, slow breath in through your nose, first filling your lower lungs, then your upper lungs.

2.Hold your breath to the count of "three."

3.Exhale slowly through pursed lips, while you relax the muscles in your face, jaw, shoulders, and stomach.

Most bodies can only 20 minutes of anxiety before returning a resting state. What people describe as a prolonged panic attack is really a series of attacks, one on top of the other. If you can nip the first one in the bud, it's very unlikely you will have a second and so on.

Thank you. I am trying so hard, it's just getting to a point that I just want to give up ! I don't know what else to do and it seems like I am getting them 3. . 4. . 5 times a day and they're getting worse and worse. I have been to urgent care 2 times in 2 weeks and both times have told me I am fine, I just can't shake the feelings. I hate anxiety !

I get the same way. I am convinced there is something wrong with me medically and I am going to die. I have had millions of tests done and they always tell me I am fine. I have found that if you can make your self do it, excersise helps. Just do anything that will make your body so tired that your mind doesn't have the energy to be anxious. You will get better. Anxiety is just a visitor. Let it come and let it go
