Hey everyone, I'm new to this so I'm going to just kinda say what some of my triggers are and see if anyone can help me through them. Most of my anxiety stems from something to do with my health. I'm always worried I am going to pass out or have a heart attack and drop dead. I'm aware this isn't rational, but it's all I can think about when my heart starts beating fast and when I have a slight pain in my arms.

Hi, you're not alone. I was recently in the ER because of a bad panic attack. My heart was racing and my chest was so tight I thought I was having a heart attack and I was just going to pass out and nobody was going to be able to save me. The thoughts we are having are called catastrophic thoughts, they're not rational and the probabilities of them actually happening are really small. What helps me is to sit with my anxiety and realize that it's just my body reacting to my anxiety and i'm not going to die, I like to talk to myself and say things like, "this is my anxiety, I feel it in my chest, I'm not going to die, It's just my anxiety." followed with deep breathing. It helps me and I hope it can help you! We can overcome this!
