Anyone used buspar with there other med?

I am taking Buspar along with Paxil as an added measure to help my anxiety. I have been on the Buspar for about 4 years. I am taking 10mg twice a day, it had been three times a day but along with my doctors ok, I backed it down. I am not sure how much it has helped to be quite honest and I have had a side effect from it if I take it too soon after taking my Paxil. I get serotonin overload and begin sweating like mad. I had to research this on my own as my doc had never run into this with a patient. But I also know that I am very sensitive to these meds, paxil included. I now make sure there is at least 90 minutes or more between the two meds. Others have spoken of side effects that I have not had.

I had to stop it I only took it once . It gave me weird effects . I only took a small dose

Sorry to hear that it did not work out. As I said, the more you look into Burspar and for that matter any of the meds that are recommended, you can begin seeing side effects that some people have that the majority of others do not. Good luck in finding what will work for you.
