I called my GP in the end as I was anxious. He rang the hospital. They, of course, had not received any referral and could not find the results of the blood test on the system. I have an appointment with them this afternoon.
Very relieved. Saw a nurse at the clinic who was lovely but undecided as to whether it was a clot or not. Had a scan and NO CLOT!!! No ruptured Bakers Cyst either so I'm in the clear. But what a scary time. My heart goes out to anyone else in this situation.
That's great news Pippa1 and glad you are OK. Anyone who thinks they have a blood clot (DVT or PE) must contact their GP immediately or A&E and you don't get a second chance if it is a blood clot.
Thanks again Pippa1 for keeping us all informed.
Hi Pippa1, just wondering what advice you were given?
I am in the same situation and do not have my scan until Tuesday morning after visiting the urgent care centre on Thursday evening. I am wondering whether I can drive and whether I should go to work on monday (full time desk job).
This waiting game is not pleasant :0(
