Hi, I am taking eliquis,or apixaban,for suspected atrial fibulation.They are unsure!
I have me/cfs-type illness also.Due to this,I use some supplements,and herbs etc.I am trying to find-out about taking vitamin k, with apixaban,conflicting information!

I agree emphatically with the previous respondent. Advice is currently that you should avoid Vitamin K and foods containing a large amount. Don’t know where you’ve read it is advisable to increase your amount of Vitamin K intake. I would think it’s a risky thing to do.
I've just been diagnosed with AFib and awaiting an echocardiogram and more bloods. First set of bloods taken on Friday came back normal. I've been prescribed apixaban but not started it yet as I'm scared by this whole thing!
I have several other conditions inc fibromyalgia and was diagnosed as vitamin D deficient last year. So I take my own vit D supplements along with recommended co-factors which include vit K and magnesium.
Really unsure what to do now and any further advice or research/studies would be good.
