I've posted a couple of times on here before. I got my results from Guy and St Thomas's hospital in June from a MRI, bloods and vein ultrasound to say that I have insufficient blood flow in my right leg from my two DVT's 11 years ago and moderate post thrombotic syndrome. I am on a waiting list to have a stent fitted at the top of my leg vein but it's a bit experimental as no one has investigated fully the state of my veins and we don't know if it will work. I've got a lot of 'dont knows' in my mind. I'm pleased I'm having something done because it's been a long journey to this both physically and mentally and I know without any intervention that the leg will get worse but is there anyone here with experience of having key hole surgery to have a mesh stent put in? Any thoughts, experiences greatly appreciated. Thank you
