Just wondering for those who live on Apixaban how you've got on with exercise? Powerlifting is important to me, which I'm not willing to give up on. How have you managed? Has there been any weakness?

I get the impression we're supposed to exercise as much as we can - for many of us, that isn't much if we're still feeling rotten after our clots. I should carry on as best you can, if I were you....

I weirdly wasn't ill due to the clot, but glandular fever. As soon as I started to get better I was back I in the gym. My frustration is that Ive lost a lot of strength, hope I can get it back! But I'm back deadlifting, squatting and bench pressing. Being on Warfarin makes the diet hard work

Poor you. But it will come back. I'm not on Warfarin, thankfully, so have no dietary restrictions, but they won't let me skate any more (I had pretty much stopped, anyway) due to the risks of hitting my head. So I'm now doing Silver Cheerleading instead.
