I'm on apixaban I've been on it for over a year and I get a feeling of heavy legs from the knee down to my ankles and a feeling as though I've been on a mile hike also a burning sensation but my legs feel cold as any one else suffered any side affects

Hi willcat, I’ve been taking apixiban for just under 3 years, and haven’t had any side effects from it. Have you spoken to your specialist about this?

Were you ever told where to go if you cut yourself and start to bleed heavily? My husband was not told where to get the reversal med.

In any emergency you would go to the Emergency Room to be treated.

There is no reversal med for Apixaban, as far as I know.

Yes. Apixaban caused an ache in the legs which inhibited my walking ability. Dose now reduced to absolute minimum and symptoms have almost gone away.
