Has anybody had an angiogram lately. What does it consist of and is it best to have the proceedure through your wrist or the groin feeling rather worried about this. How long does it take and do you feel anything?

hi I had it done 2 years ago, the entry point will depend on what part of the heart or arteries the doc
wants to look at , it is painless . takes about 1 hour or less ,you will be in and out the same day
after the procedure you will think to your self was that it, if you need a stent it will done there and then
ps I had it done 40 years ago when I had aortic valve replacement and again 2 years ago when stent fitted , the only difference first time monitor was black and white ,today it is in colour
I have had both wrist and groin done having an Angiogram, there is nothing to worry about ,YES there is some pain with all medical investigations, so stop worrying, as it is for the good in the end.
