I am transitioning from xeralto 15mg twice a day to 20 mg 1x a day. Is it best to take it in morning or evening or does it not make any difference?

Xeralto 15mg to 20 mg
I would ask a pharmacist they would know about it
Must be taken with food. To make sure it doesn't just pass through. Evening meal is recommended but I don't think it makes any difference so long as you eat something beforehand.
I have also read you must take it at the same time every day. I am inexperienced with it myself but am always trying to gain knowledge.
I use to take mine first thing in the morning with food, if you miss a dose Do Not double the next dose up.
It makes no difference. Just be reasonably consistent. It has a half life of 36 hours so 2 or 3 hours variation every day doesn't matter
That's good to know...I've only been on Rivaroxaban nearly 4 weeks and told to stick to as near the same time as possible...I have on occasions had a half hour difference...can't find info like you've given on the leaflet with the medication...where did you find that please...could answer other questions I might have. Thanks.
Hi. I am on rivaroxaban for life. I take it on a morning with food and a glass of water. That's what I was advised to do by the hospital. Good luck with it. Take care
