Vaccine and adrenal glands

"It is impossible to vaccinate unhealthy people who have a deficiency of the main hormone of adaptation to stress - cortisol - especially during the so-called pandemic. A decrease in the production of cortisol by the adrenal glands occurs in many autoimmune diseases, chronic stress, iron deficiency, contact with infectious agents, and significantly weakens the body's immune response. Any vaccination in these people can lead to increased susceptibility to any infection, exacerbate chronic diseases, which will entail adverse consequences. Vaccination in them aggravates adrenal insufficiency, in which they die easily and quickly. Dysfunction of the adrenal glands is accompanied by a violation of the secretion of another important hormone - aldosterone, which can also lead to unwanted electrolyte disturbances and adversely affect the work of the cardiovascular system. It is possible to assess the function of the adrenal glands and assess the risks of vaccination only by analyzing the hormonal profile in saliva. Unfortunately, very few people know about this, even among doctors,”said the endocrinologist. What do you say to these words?

Hi,

The vaccine doesn’t stress the Adrenals! It makes antibodies to fight infections! I had my Corvid second dose in April and I have the flu vaccine every year with no problems

All the best

Thanks Steven. Michael has had Addison's for 26 years, now also ALD and AMN. He's has the two does of Astra Zeneca with no ill effects.

Steven is right. I have just emailed my consultant for his views on this post and will post his reply. I can guess what he will say.

My Consultant at the National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery, Dr Robin Lachmann has this comment on the post:

"Wholly inaccurate. "

"Advice would be for people with adrenal insufficiency to get vaccinated not the reverse, but then the advice is for everyone to get vaccinated. Suggest you refer to the British Society of Endocrinology. Full of eminent endocrinologists who actually have names!"

Dr Lachmann was happy for me to name himself here.

So there you have it. I have been treated by Dr Lachman for about 15 years and can vouch for his probity and knowledge.

I had Addison's disease for 42 years and have taken numerous vaccines including Moderna without consequence.

I googled the entire quote, and parts of it. Doesn't exist anywhere on the Internet. Not as far as Google is concerned.

Let's be honest here. Vaccines have rescued mankind. Who catches Smallpox these days? There is a good reason for that.

Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Whooping Cough, Polio. Who doesn't vaccinate their kids? I've lived in Africa and plenty die over there over things that we don't consider relevant anymore.

I've a friend in London who has had Long Covid for 18 months now. All sorts of damage is being reported about how Covid damages, the heart, kidneys, et al. Trust me, you don't want to risk catching Covid.

The 1920 Influenza epidemic, apart from all the deaths, there was a was a wave of Parkinsonism that hit survivors in the aftermath.

The Covid Vaccines may not have undergone the 10 years of clinical trials, but drugs are usually tested from the bottom up. Poor volunteers do it for cash first, then it moves up.

At least these have gone top down. It hasn't killed all those major world leaders, doctors, businessmen, etc. I'll buy that.

Having my second Pfizer jab in a few hours.

I mean no disrespect, but this is absolutely wrong. Because folks with adrenal insufficiency are potentially immunocompromised (theoretically shouldn’t be if you have proper replacement meds but it’s not always so easy to mimic ), they need to be among the first to be vaccinated because they need the extra protection of vaccines.

Spot on, Abcd1Kat . AMN puts you to the front of the queue as well. I haven't posted anything for ages here, but I cannot see this place turn into some anti-vaxx site. Not without any corroborating evidence at any rate.

I've seen two good friends of mine go down the old Qanon rabbit hole as it is.

I’m amazed everyday that when it comes to Addison’s Disease there are so many endo’s with differing treatments and knowledge. Kinda like churches and religion. Keep going till you find one that agrees with what you think. Rather sketchy.

Just to flesh out my earlier reply regarding viruses and Parkinson's disease, I gots me some scientific, peer-reviewed info.

First up - massivesci.com/articles/vir...

Viruses can infect the brain, hide out for decades, and then cause Viral Parkinsonism

Here is a quote:

Many of these patients were survivors of viral diseases that had infected the brain and led to viral encephalitis. Viral encephalitis is brain swelling and damage, which can occur when a virus infects the central nervous system and ends up in the brain, a condition which can be disabling and often fatal. In fact, nearly every Spanish Influenza patient who had an acute episode of encephalitis (brain swelling and damage during infection) from the influenza virus went on to develop what was later termed “Viral Parkisonism”.

and:

Since this time, viruses like the West Nile Virus, HIV, and Western Equine Virus have all been attributed to Viral Parkinsonism development later in life.

There is a reasonably good film about it with Robert De Niro and Robin Williams.

Of course, we are talking Covid here. Here is an article from Nature, one of the most most respected scientific journals in the world.

nature.com/articles/s41531-...

COVID-19 and possible links with Parkinson’s disease and parkinsonism: from bench to bedside.

Quote:

there are so far no documented reports of parkinsonism apart from a single case report.

Another one, relevant to us all here with AMN:

While a role for the virus in causing or exacerbating Parkinson’s disease appears unlikely at this time, aggravation of specific motor and non-motor symptoms has been reported

The last thing I need is any more aggravation of my motor symptoms.

One more (important for us) quote:

A recent review of 43 confirmed COVID-19 cases in a London, UK hospital suggested emergence of specific neurological presentations, including encephalopathies, inflammatory central nervous system syndromes, ischemic strokes, and peripheral neurological disorders, although parkinsonism and rates of hyposmia or ageusia were not reported.

We with AMN gots to maintain good brain health, lest it goes cerebral. It's not just the bang on the head that could do you in. Mother Nature is always there with a helping hand.

None of the above has anything to do with Addison's disease.

Hi Intensor,I was given a steroid overdose in France in 2001, left undiagnosed for months, I was finally diagnosed in London. Too late to rectify. My adrenal glands don't produce the cortisone I need so I live with chronic fatigue plus AMN. The steroid overdose unearthed the AMN although I wasn't diagnosed until 2006, 5 years later. I function about 3 hours a day now.

I've had two Moderna vaccines with no problem. I had mild fluey symptoms after the second shot but that was fine by the next day.

(I'm not able to take supplemental steroids, as a neurologist at Harvard said, to consider myself 'allergic' to systemic steroids, they'd knock my immune system to hell and hasten the AMN. Its an unpleasant Catch 22 situation, to have damaged adrenal glands and unable to tolerate steroid treatment.)
