This is true of everyone, not just AMN sufferers, I experienced it in real life. When I suggest getting a wheelchair, you don;t have to use it 100% of the time, just when you need it. I don;t use mine ALL the time. Although for me definitely 99% of the time now. Out of choice I don;t walk. Its inefficient, tiring and unproductive. If you want to go a long way, I can;t imagine life without now.
I just got measured today for a new bespoke wheelchair for exactly my size, I tested one and its awesome. French health insurance is covering 6000€ for it. And weirdly buying me a new mattress too..
