I'm a female carrier with 2 boys who have ALD. After being checked out for my carrier status I was started on B12 injections which I have every 4 months. Any other females who have injection - do you also take a supplement?

Do you have symptoms and, if so, how does the B12 seem to be helping? I'm also a female carrier and have a lot of pain, walk with a cane indoors and use an electric w/c outdoors. I also have a lot of lower back pain which could also be from a total hip replacement.

The only symptoms I have are B12 related, tingling and warmth in my feet and tingling in my hands too. Some fatigue and what I call brain fog. All of this seems to be helped by the injections.

Thanks, might be something I'll talk to with my neurologist....when I find one! ):
