Semi perm hair piece is it worth it

Has anyone tried a semi perm hair transplant there marketed for men but I've been considering it as my hair loss is from the crown forward I loose hair in the side which is ok and the back remains thick for someone with fine hair. I'm having a hair loss "cycle" at the moment and my friar tuck patch (as I like to call it) is back. Ive spent I don't know how much over the years and find wigs uncomfortable so this looks perfect for me but before I spend the money I was wondering what other people have thought about them maintenance and the cover al cost
