So i haven't been actually diagnosed with fibromyalgia but it's the only thing that makes sense recently. I started getting symptoms 4 months ago but then after that it became worse to the point where I cried everyday because even standing and sitting hurt. No painkillers work and I've basically tried them all and I've been trying to see the doctors and get help but after a blood test and almost 4 rescheduled appointments with a pediatrician, it's not going well. I'm getting worse even to the point where I'm losing my balance, constantly tired and in pain and getting weaker by the minute. And now it's affecting my school work and my grades are slipping because I can't concentrate on the work.
To get back to my point, I'm starting to feel hopeless and the constant feeling of dread to wake up the next morning because I know I'll just end up crying and being in pain. Does anyone else get this or am I just losing my mind?
-thanks

Oh dear, does your mother come with you to appointments? it may help if she does, another person to vouch for what you are saying goes a long way. It's the club nobody wants to join,, and some doctors will say you are too young for Fibro, but young folk do get it.
It is a diagnosis of exclusion, when they have exhausted all other possibilities then they will diagnose. Fibro is a beast, it mimics many other conditions, such as MS, ME, CFS, so it can take time to diagnose, took 29 years for them to come to the decision with me. Might be an idea to ask to see a Rheumatologist, they are the ones who seem to diagnose most often.
