Copper and magnetic bracelets

Does anyone wear a copper and magnetic bracelet for arthritis while they are taking Apixaban. Pharmacy say might be ok but thinks it's just a placebo. Internet says no you shouldn't wear one while taking blood thinners. Just wondered if anyone does wear one and has it helped . Also does anyone take cod liver oil again internet says no because it's a blood thinner as is olive oil.

I cannot see how wearing a copper bracelet can possibly interact with anticoagulant, where did you get your info from? There is no evidence to say that it helps with pain of arthritis so I wouldn’t waste your money. I take Reservratrol as anti inflammatory alongside 1g daily of Glucosimine and MSM - works well for me. I find Acupunture and Acupressure gets best relief from arthritis pain.

If you have a pacemaker or ICD probably not a good idea to wear a magnetic bracelet, if you do keep it well away from the implant.

I have loads of Olive Oil on my food every day, good quality virgin olive oil has many health benefits, Cod Liver Oil - NO for me for various reasons. I take my Omega3’s from Chia seeds.

You are on Apixaban and you haven't been told not to take olive oil obviously on food it's not so much but I was taking a teaspoon of it in the morning.

I have not been told that and I continue to take as much as I want, I don’t think a teaspoon in the morning would do you any harm but better taken with food.

I would put far more than that on a salad! I don't know where you have got your info from but it's nonsense. Do you really think people in Mediterranean countries on anticoagulants who eat far more olive oil than a teaspoon a day would be told to change their diets to cut it out?

Were you taking Apixaban at the time ? And did the bracelet help I have osteoarthritis in the knee quite bad. It makes it so hard not to be able to take anti inflamtories.

I didn't see or feel any significant difference to be honest.

Don't wear bracelets but often take a tablespoon of olive oil in soup. No ill effects.
