just wondering if anyone has experience of being woken each night ( it’s actually always about 4ish ) with SVT and being unable to go back to sleep. It usually resolves once I give up and get up and do bits and bobs around the house. I do have intermittent AF but that’s actually been really good since an ablation last June. I do have a pacemaker for sick sinus and my OM vessel is about 70 % blocked. Other than that I do well , run , keep busy , don’t smoke , don’t drink , low BMI. This has been going on a couple of weeks and is just a bit frustrating. I know SVT is not a dangerous arythmia , but it is frustrating and uncomfortable. Just wondering if anyone one has any top tips from their own experience? Thankyou

SVT any one have experience and top tips ?

Are you sure this is SVT and not atrial flutter. ? Which can appear after ablations. Most of us have had this issue. SVT can be dangerous if going fast enough.

Thankyou for replying, much appreciated I’ve recorded on my Kardia 6 l and each time says SVT x Do you think it’s just one of those things ? Thanks xx
Kardia 6 l and each time says SVT
Kardia 6L does not "say" SVT. I think you may be referring to SVE (Sinus Rhythm with Supraventricular Ectopy) In other words ectopic beats. And yes, ectopics in most cases is nothing to be concerned about.
Also note that the Kardia may not be accurate if you have a pacemaker. Since this is causing you some stress, I would discuss all this with your electrophysiologist.
Btw how are they treating your 70% blockage? It's just borderline for stenting in many cases. The alternative is OMT (optimal medical therapy), which usually includes statins strong enough to bring your LDL below 70 or even lower.

Thanks Jim. My OM blockage has a being treated medically. I’ve randolazine bisoprodol ramapril atorvastatin and apixaban. I didn’t know that her pace maker affects the Kardia mobile. Does this mean that the the readings are probably incorrect? Good advice thankyou x
You seem to be on the right drugs. Are they monitoring your lipids especially your LDL? Is it below 70?
I can't answer the Kardia question, just know that on their website is mentioned something about not suitable with pacemakers. But that just may mean some of their determinations may be an accurate. I really don't know and it might be a question for them or your doctor..
