if you are planning to get to Glenfield hospital by bus from city center, you can catch a bus called the Hospital hopper, the bus does a circular route that visits all three main hostpitals, including Glenfield. There numerous stops in city . If you take a taxi , from the train station would be at least £10 one way.
P,S......the bus is labeled HH , there is a stop close to London road train station and it runs about every 30 minns .
Yes - and it's a lovely hospital. The bus station at Leicester is excellent in every way. The hospital is a long way from the centre. Cardiac care there is top notch.

Cheers Steve. Or I can drive ? Is parking at the hospital easy enough?
Yes, indeed - but not free. It's very easy to find. The car park is large and always pretty full but I have always found a space. Give yourself plenty of time. If it were to be full, there's Glenfield village right next door with parking and a quick cheap taxi to the hospital!

I've just looked it up. Prebend Street where the bus goes from is 100 yards from the station. You need to catch the Hospital Hopper showing going to the Beaumont Centre. The journey takes 25 minutes. You can check on Google maps for Prebend Street.
either way is easy, they would tell you at train station where to get the bus, there’s 2 car parks at glenfield the main car park is big, the busiest time is mid to late afternoon but i have never not found a space .
Cheers 9.30 am my appointment
Hi. It's straightforward to drive to from Coventry (a friend of mine used to live down the road) but, the traffic getting off the M69 at the M1 junction and the M1 itself at that time in the morning is horrific.
