Recommend an EP at Leicester Glenfield Hospital?

My cardiologist is referring me to an EP but said it can take up to eight weeks. I have decided to pay for a private first appointment to speed things up.

Can anyone recommend an EP at Leicester Glenfield Hospital?

Hello , I have my care at Glenfield and my EP is Dr Stafford. He does see private patients. I have had 3 ablations all completed by him He has been excellent with my care and have found that he listens to any concerns I have. Previously when I have been unwell with my AF I have emailed his secretary and got an earlier appt , I would recommend him. Good luck

Dr Sandilands. He has an outstanding reputation. I have had a consultation with him, he has an aire of professionalism. Such a nice man too.

Thanks for your replies. I have decided to go private all the way now though to speed things along.

The question now is do I go to Spire Hospital or Nuffield? I guess I will see who has the earliest appointment and go from there.

Spire and Nuffield refer patients to Glenfield if they require an EP or an ablation.

I have contacted Dr Stafford and Dr Sandilands secretaries and I will see who has the earliest private appointment.

I have just found out that both Dr Sandiland and Dr Stafford practice privately at Spire. I'm trying for an appointment tomorrow evening

Hi Joebob, I went to glenfield and saw Dr Stafford very good, really straight talking guy he did my ablation back in July 👍👍👍
