Cryo Ablation

I've had three Electro cardioversions. One Cry Ablation which was horrendous. I got an infection and if I coughed the vein tap kept busting open. It lasted six months. Now offering another Cardioversion to give me some rest. How mant Ablations can you have and what would be next? Pacemaker?

Second or third touchup ablations are not unusual.

Meanwhile, I would definitely take the cardioversion because most people's heart do much better in normal rhythm.

You might also discuss antiarrhythmic medication's like daily Flecainide to help hold you in that normal rhythm. Way, WAY too early to be even thinking about a pacemaker unless you're leaving something out.

This will be my 4th cardioversion on top of failed ablation. I'm on bisoprolol, rampiril, apixaban, atorvistatin.

I had many cardio versions but they started lasting shorter periods of time. I have A flutter , sick sinus (tachycardia-Brady ) and paroxysmal AFib . Ablation for the flutter failed so plans for ablation for the A Fib was dropped. I had a AV Node Ablation in the end and a pacemaker . I am still aware when I go into AFib but it now doesn’t change my ventricular rate . I am much better

I've had 3 ablations. Quite a few people on here have had multiples.

just had my 4th ablation and hope it was my last. However, my EP has said that there is no reason that I could not have further touch up ablations.
