Does anyone take Colecal Calcium carb chewable tablets with Apixaban ?

No, I was advised to not take, although prescribed them for Osteoporosis. There is little evidence they may help as Apixaban will decrease therapeutic value and some evidence that they could contribute to Arteriosclerosis, Directing calcium into the bones I believe is best achieved through food intake of high calcium foods.

If supplementing with adcal you should look into the roles of taking magnesium and vit k2 mk7 to aid in absorbtion and direction of where calcium goes.

Yes I take Calceos calcium and vitamin d supplement for fibromyalgia. My gp prescribed it and when I developed af and leaky valves he also put me on Apixaban. Have been takinfg both for over 2 years

I'm taking the osteocare not chewable variety, calcium/magnesium/zinc, vitD but I take half the recommended daily dose as I have a pretty good diet - fish, fresh veg, fruit. I take an iron tablet daily too with vitC for absorbtion.
