Hi Eater.

Sorry but it's a Homer Simson moment for me and I don't quite understand your question. Do you mean you have flutter? If so an ablation has a huge success rate for flutter and is worth taking to your cardio about.

I was told my pacemaker had a flutter! My appointment for looking at my pacemaker e t was in October,no good as I won’t be able to go to an appointment till November because of my leg The hospital transport could give me a lift, very important.

Ring your Pacemaker Clinic - the cardiac physiologists are usually very helpful, especially if you aren’t too mobile and rely on hospital transport.

It could very well mean that the pacemaker has picked up atrial flutter. If that's the case, depending on the severity and your symptoms, they may want to make an adjustment of your pacemaker and/or medication's, or perhaps even do an ablation.

But why guess? Contact your doctor's office and ask exactly what is going on. At least in the United States,we are entitled to an answer from our doctor on any medical issue within three days, per established protocols and regulations.

I have a pacemaker and have never felt it flutter or falter in anyway in almost 10 years however if I did then I would be on straight away to my pacing department at the Hospital and get it sorted out!

I think it means that your print out shows that you are having atrial flutter. I have a pacemaker to prevent my HR dropping too low but it also shows if I'm having flutter as well as giving other information. I think you should try to get to your appointment. I'm assuming you have a home monitoring unit and they have picked it up via that?

Yes, in the UK. I have a home monitor by my bed which can down load information from my pacemaker to the hospital using mobile data. It can show my HR, check the battery status and monitor any changes in my heart rhythm.

I was given it by the hospital. Atrial flutter can be a problem but not necessarily very serious. However, I think you should try to get to your appointment.
