carvedilol tablets

I’ve had AF on and off over about six years and had an ablation five years ago. The AF has again become 2 or 3 times a week and FLECINIDE no longer makes much impact and I had AF for three days solid.

My GP prescribed Carvedilol yesterday and the AF stopped within an hour of my first tablet.

Does anyone have any experience of this drug?

I’ve read the possible side effects and to be honest they are similar to most listed on other things I’ve been prescribe.

Hi

I think another namd is Diltiazem.

A wonder drug which dropped my heart rate from 156 to 51.

So was reduced to 120CD and Bisoprolol to 2.5mg.

Been on this regime for 2.1/2 years. Great.

Only had to separate the D. which a CCB to AM and BB Biso... to PM.

No different with swelling ankles which I get with driving long trips with heat.

Up on a pillow at night and it disappears.

Hi

OOPS.

Now I read that your one is a combination of Beta Blocker and Ace Inhibitor.

I can't have ACE because they make me cough.
