How long have you been taking Digoxin? I didn't get on with it very well, it seemed to put me in a daze and I was very emotional. A friend takes it and thinks it's wonderful.

Drugs react differently for people, some help others don't but we can only try them and see. If it's not suiting you then please let your GP know.

Have you had a digoxin level checked?

My husband is on digoxin and he seems less inclined to do anything and not able when he does try. What and how is a digoxin check please?

Have a look at this from the BNF. Head down to “Monitoring requirements “

The timing of the test in relation to the last dose is important.

Digoxin toxicity is more likely if renal function is impaired or potassium levels are low.

His GP can arrange this simple blood test.

I have been on it for about 6 years for the same reason as you. It's a good drug in my opinion and been used for years. Stay on it as I remember having them exact symptoms when I started. However, they will subside after a few weeks.

Digoxin is not normally associated with fatigue, that’s usually beta blockers.
