hi - this is going to sound very stupid but tonight I put out my water and flecainide pck as usual to take and pottered around and I just cannot remember if I’ve taken the 100mg flecainide dose for tonight or not!! And the more I think the more I’m convinced I have taken it and equally that I’ve not taken it! I’m so used to it now I take these tablets almost by rote.
so my question is : should I take a tablet and risk a double dose or leave it until tomorrow am and risk missing a dose?
im also on holiday abroad and panicking . Seems a quick scroll on dr google says don’t take double felacainde as it’s not a nice drug .
any thoughts?? Anyone else done this? Thanks

Can you figure it out by counting what's left in the bottle? What about trying to reach your pharmacist or doctor?
If not possible, I'd probably not take another dose, or at the most split a pill and take 50mg. That's not advice, just what I've done in the past under similar circumstances.
I’ve tried to remember what I had left but can’t. I have reached same conclusion though I’ll leave it until morning now. Having read what I can it seems safer to miss a dose than double up .
Thanks anyway . Going to buy one of those daily tablet boxes now 🤦♀️
Too late to help with last night but I've had similar experiences and erred on the side of caution. On holiday more of a problem as not in usual routine. Now put mine out for the week in pill container.
If you are feeling alright then pick back up on the next dose schedule. Flec wasn't kind to me but if any symptoms of Afib kicked off, then I'd try half a dose just to be on the safe side.
I concur with a few responses below. Wait until your next scheduled time. Perhaps as suggested take an hour or so earlier, but definitely don't take the double dose chance.
