So fed with all the Af and bradycardia some may know I have issues with high heart rate of 230 when in af but it drops down to 35 so they told me they want to do ablation and pacemaker this was September when i was in hospital last will still haven't heard nothing and now yet another monitor.

All this has put liver my transplant on hold as the consultant said until my heart issues are sorted I'm classed as not stabled for the transplant list .

You poor thing, my heart goes out to you. How about ringing your consultant's secretary and asking when your heart procedures will be carried out.Sending you a big healing hug.

I'm afraid they tend not to consider other problems so if they don't think your heart is that urgent they will ignore your transplant. You need to ring them and pester and pester; stress the hold up. I wonder if you could persuade your liver specialist to write to them to get it hurried up?

Hi

Wow gee you look very kitted up.

I had 3 24hr Heart monitors in a year to check what each change of med was doing.

Metopolol, Bisoprolol abd then Diltiazem 120mg AM and Bisoprolol 2.5mg PM.

Controlled at last. CCB Diltiazem was my saver. H/R high on BBs.

So for me BBs for control on BP and CCB on H/Rate (180mg brought me down 105bpm in 2 hours of its introduction).

I should have taken a picture after thyroidectomy as I had 2 drains hanging and I told everyone I had 4 boobs.

Soon it will be behind you, Corrie.

My prayers include you. Hang onto becoming yourself again.

I've had 2 3 day r test ones in less than 7 months which just recored on and off and you press the button when you feel the Af or Symptoms kick in and now this one as it records 24/7 it's being removed Monday.

Hi

After stroke with AF diagnosed, then Papillary cancer found in thyroid, there was a argument as to when to have the thyroidectomy. Both surgeon and anaesthetist (who had had thyroid cancer removed) said a,s,a,p, Endocrinologist said 6 months.

I had it done at 4 months, AF not controlled.

I was done in the public hospital with 2 anaesthetists. 1 could have been a junior.

I was finally controlled H/R with Diltiazem a CCB.

I had 2 anaesthetists last year just controlled 2 months previous. Public and my Right Shoulder repair private noted H/R Day now 60s. No need to worry so 1 anaesthetist.

I had another ECHO the month prior to operation.

Now I wont have to have all the fuss and being checked by Anaesthetist who stated we won't do the operation if your H/R is 100 or over.

You will get this place eventually when your triage group get the proof of being controlled.

Take care. Cheri JOY. 74 (NZ)
