Does anyone have home monitor and if reliable ? As drs won’t accept an ecg report I show them ! And I had a TIA yesterday as had funny turn at work then went into this and used heart monitor to record it. Their Ecg showed tachycardia and ST depressions not elevations so don’t know how reliable these are ? Tia probably cause by all the heart blood I have had in last 5 weeks ! Also they said I’m showing narrowing of arteries on ecg ! Been referred to tia clinic should be seen next week and also cardiology app needed urgently as my next app is in July ! When I have episodes now I get pressure or chest pains and in jaw but they wax and wane. First time for pain in 10 years of having this annoying condition !

The one most mention on here is Kardia. I have one and my doctor accepts the ecg as accurate. However some doctors might not.

This doesn't look like an accurate ECG. If you can get your GPs surgery to do one it will be better. If you want to understand them I recommend Future Learn, they're part of the IU and do a really good free course which runs periodically.

Good luck

Have you had the TIA, chest pains and/or jaw pain checked out by your doctor, or gone to A&E so they can check on them?

I was taken to hospital by ambulance and they diagnosed the TIA and also the narrowing of arteries so on statins now and going to tia clinic this week and they requested urgent cardiology app and I’m banned from driving now 😢

The Kardia monitor proved to my Cardiologist that I had PAF . He recommended it and although it cost plus minus £75 ,it was well worth it. The trouble with PAF -you can wear monitors etc but if you don't have AF , it's not proven. The diagnosis sent me down the path of ablation. No regrets at all.
