pills pharmacies stopped my pills propylthiouracil brand Wockhardt can’t take generic anyone in uk can get these as i have kept well on them

can’t get my pills after 40 yrs propylthiouracil brand Wockhardt + rph dr gave me a prescription but pharmacies stopped having them I have talked to company who supply hospital etc but I can’t even buy them I know they’re expensive but I need find them Hoping someone in uk are having these It was suggested try on online lm not good at tech but my grandchildren can so will try that please let me know if you are using these somewhere in uk as soon run out a nd they have kept me well for 40 yrs Thanks everyone

I believe your DR or prescriber can override the pharmacist by writing on prescription ' no generic substitution 'Maybe a call to them or if unable to get through,111.

One or 2 of our members here are sensitive to fillings in some meds I hope they can confirm the above.

When I had trouble getting a particular make of pill that suited me, I rang the makers and found out which pharmacies in my area stocked it and also who the wholesaler was. I've found Boots very good at getting the make of pills I like.

It may be an idea to ring around the pharmacies in your area and see if any one of them could get that make for you.
